The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Watertown is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Our Vision is to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Our Formula for Impact:

“Formula for Impact” is an adopted strategy created by the Boys & Girls Club of America and serves as a road-map for Clubs to help ensure that members achieve our priority outcomes of Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. It represents the five key elements for positive youth development:

  1. A safe, positive environment
  2. Fun
  3. Supportive relationships
  4. Opportunities and expectations
  5. Recognition

It also incorporates high-yield learning activities, targeted programs and regular attendance.
